Splice — Loops for Producers

I am not sure anyone will find this relatable, but I’ve always wanted to make music, and being unemployed means I get to actually do that. I’ve spent time learning instruments and production, but I’m no expert… Splice flattens the learning curve to let people like you and me create music pretty easily. I’ve produced a few songs this week because of Splice and I am excited to share them as I learn how to mix and master them. I will be sure to share them in the future.

Copilot Money

I have been using Copilot to track my spending and budget for nearly a year and I am extremely grateful for the app. In the past year, I’ve had a few different life events happen, I lost my job, I sold my car, I rented my house out, and I went on a Euro trip for a month—all thanks to budgeting and preparing. Dad Grass — Mom Grass

Dad Grass is a CBD company that sells, well… CBD. Their motto is something along the lines of, “Like your dad’s stash, we keep things easy and dependable, never fancy or complicated.” Which is exactly what I need, I rarely ever smoke, and I don’t like to, in college, I had vastly different experiences compared to my friends, so I don’t do that anymore. However, this only being CDB is nice to take the edge off at times, and sort of, in a way, make me feel cool. The Mom Grass is nice because it doesn’t mellow you out, it focuses you, whereas the Dad Grass calms you down. Little one-hitters like this are discrete! They also recently came out with drinks that are low-dose THC, yuzu grapefruit mint which sounds delicious, I haven’t tried them, but they seem similar to Cann which is another THC beverage that I have enjoyed before and would recommend.

Silo Season 2 — Apple TV

Season 2 of Silo is coming out here in a little over a week and I have been preparing by catching up on a few of the last episodes. Silo was SLOW, but in a good way, it is based on a book series and they do a nice job of keeping little details that slow the show down, but also send you on little rabbit holes which makes the show fun. If you like the video game Fallout or you like dystopian future shows this show will be right up your alley. Also, Rashida Jones starts the series off, maybe she has some sort of deal with Apple TV, her character doesn’t last super long, but she is what got me bought into the series from the start. Vibe: 9.8/10
